New To Join Marvel - Cloak and Dagger!

Way back when (early April 2016), news was released by Marvel that a Cloak and Dagger series hit a greenlight to be broadcast on Freeform. We now have a vague airing date of Winter 2018.

More importantly Tandy and Tyrone have talented young actors to portray them, hinting this series is more and origin story similar to the awesome Marvel/Netflix originals.

Aubrey Joseph (Run All Night, 2015) has been cast as Cloak, who has the ability to open up an aperture into the dimension of darkness where he can dispatch his enemies. He's got a hole in his pocket and in his stomach as he is always hungry and has to feed on light provided by Dagger or his ended enemies in the darkness. He also has the abilities of intangibility and teleportation through the dimension of darkness.

Disney's own Olivia Holt (The Standoff, 2016) as Dagger, who's abilities include creating psionic "light daggers" which can travel to wherever she wants them to and drain an enemies' vitality. She can also cure certain people's drug addictions. Her daggers help Cloak with his hunger and allow her to not become over charged. #relationshipgoals.

I'm actually looking forward to this but we have plenty of time to see where this goes before it's out. If it's anything as good as what I've seen from the Marvel series so far on Netflix, we're in for a good time.
